SIDE QUEST · URIASHI SACRED STONE

A Pilgrimage for Power: Fanatics Walkthrough

Climb east of Woodland Outpost Shrine, investigate the destroyed sacred stone and copy the surviving glyph from the paper beside the cross. The summit has no boss, but missing one clue can stop the quest from advancing.

The windchime trail starts east of Woodland Outpost Shrine and climbs to the destroyed uriashi stone, where the paper beside the cross holds the surviving glyph.
Quick answer

Start in St. Tyna’s Grove, east of Woodland Outpost Shrine near the bandit camp. Follow the windchimes uphill, inspect the central cross and read the paper on its right. Completion costs 2 time segments and awards 250 XP + one Ravenous Flock Manual.

Fanatics starting location

Fast-travel to Woodland Outpost Shrine and move east to northeast into the hills. The windchime trail begins near a bandit camp and starts the quest when Coen gets close; no NPC conversation or prior sacred stone is required.

Use Focus Mode to highlight the chimes and other route markers. Wolves attack on the climb, but this part of the pilgrimage does not have the kind of summit miniboss found at the Dark-Thing stone.

Follow the windchimes to the destroyed stone

  1. Leave Woodland Outpost toward the hill near the bandit camp.
  2. Activate Focus Mode as soon as the first windchimes become audible.
  3. Follow the chimes uphill and clear the wolves on the path.
  4. At the summit, stop at the campsite with the bodies and the large cross.

The quest works during day or night. Unlike the Rockfalls pilgrimage, Fanatics does not require a form-specific wall crossing, so choose whichever half of the day fits the rest of your St. Tyna’s Grove route.

Inspect the bodies, cross and paper glyph

The fanatics destroyed the original uriashi stone, so the objective is an investigation rather than a normal stone interaction. Use this order to avoid overlooking the final prompt:

1

Check the bodies

Hold Focus Mode around the campsite and inspect the highlighted corpses. The journal treats some of this evidence as optional, but it explains the scene and makes the remaining prompts easier to identify.

2

Inspect the central cross

Interact with the wooden cross driven into the remains of the sacred stone. This advances the investigation toward the missing glyph.

3

Read the paper on the right

Stand facing the cross and inspect the paper lying to its right. It preserves a drawing of the destroyed uriashi glyph and is the copy point needed to finish the sacred-stone objective.

The three stops are a chain, not a checklist. The interactions set up one another, so clearing them out of order leaves the final prompt hidden.

1bodies around the campsiteconfirms the fanatics destroyed their own sacred stone and reads the scene before the later prompts appearmakes the remaining prompts easier to identify in Focus Mode

3paper on the rightpreserves the drawing of the destroyed uriashi glyph and copies itit is the final copy point, so it resolves last

Resolve the wounded uriash encounter

A wounded uriash approaches after the investigation and explains what happened to the fanatics. You can settle the conversation peacefully or provoke a fight; either route can complete this pilgrimage entry. For the non-hostile path, ask what happens next and accept that the fanatics brought the violence on themselves.

The reward is not tied to killing him

Choose the peaceful response if you only want a clean, low-risk finish. The manual comes from completing the glyph encounter, not from looting the uriash.

Time cost and Ravenous Flock reward

Completing the cross-and-glyph sequence advances the clock by 2 time segments. The reliable completion reward is 250 XP and one Ravenous Flock Manual. Fanatics is one of four sacred-stone entries; each supplies a manual used to extend the same Witchcraft ability.

The two sacred-stone pilgrimages in this pair differ in how you reach the stone and match in what they pay out. Use the comparison below before you pick which half of the day to spend on the climb.

If the paper cannot be inspected

  • Use Focus Mode and clear every highlighted interaction around the bodies.
  • Inspect the cross before trying the paper on its right.
  • Wait for Coen’s investigation line to finish before moving to the next clue.
  • Keep 2 time segments free so the final interaction is not blocked by your route budget.
